Fractal Time: Why a Watch. has been added to your Cart. This book provides an interdisciplinary introduction to the notion of fractal time, starting from scratch with a philosophical and perceptual puzzle.
Fractal Time: Why a Watch. How subjective duration varies, depending on the way we embed current content into contexts, is explained. The complexity of our temporal perspective depends on the number of nestings performed, . This temporal contextualization is described against the background of the notion of fractal time.

Physical Density of Time. The spontaneous formation of fractal fault structures by repeated earthquakes is mirrored at short times by the spatio-temporal chaotic dynamics of earthquakes, well-described by a Gutenberg-Richter power law. We also show that the fault structures can be understood as pure geometrical objects, namely minimal manifolds, which in two dimensions correspond to the random directed polymer (RDP) problem.
This book presents an interdisciplinary approach to the question of how .
This book presents an interdisciplinary approach to the question of how observer participant perspectives are generated, what constrains them and how they may be modified. These questions are of vital importance and must be addressed in any discipline before formulating a hypothesis or designing a model about reality. Contents: Observer Perspectives: Epistemological Background: Fractal Time: Extended Observer Perspectives (S Vrobel); Mirror Neurons: Evidence for the Great Simulator and Vrobelism (O E Rössler); Brain Time and Physical Time (U Fidelman); Identifying Temporal Observer Perspectives: On Time Experience in Depression (H M Emrich et a.

Fractal Time: Why a Watched Kettle Never Boils. Duration and the Now are primary experiences of time and therefore precede physical and semantic concepts of time
Fractal Time: Why a Watched Kettle Never Boils. This book tackles the notion of duration and the structure of our Now using a phenomenological approach. We shall look into a number of temporal distortions, correctives and compensatory actions. Duration and the Now are primary experiences of time and therefore precede physical and semantic concepts of time.
