Everything else in this book can be found on reference sites online - citation formating, etc. Don't bother with this book if your grammar is up to par and you're willing to look up official guidelines on citation online. THE expert on grammar, usage and puncuation.
Index and appendicies make for quick reference.
Everyone who writes should have one of these on their shelf.
Having lost my Handbook through a move, I found it imperative to purchase another one. It is the best book for developing and explaining the basics of writing. As a teacher, I used it frequently with my English classes.
