I was lucky enough to hear Mr. Benham himself up at the MNSOTA summer workshop. As a new orchestra teacher with no curriculum outline of my own, this has been very helpful! Looking forward to future revisions!

This is a really fantastic resource for all string teachers. This curriculum breaks down teaching strings into small pieces and provides assessment guidelines for each step in the process. We're really excited to use this book in our undergraduate music education classes this fall.

Lots of ideas. Standards, Goals and learning sequences for essential skills are clearly laid out. ASTA puts together good publications.

The book is decent, but I wasn't blown away like I hoped. Yes, it's very in depth and has some good info, but it's simply too wordy and hard to follow. I bought this book because Stephen Benham recommended it at a conference I attended. Overall, I was just disappointed and wish it was better.

I had to buy this for a class, but the book is great. It has everything you want in a curriculum and more. Everything is laid out really well and is easily accesible.
