Easy to read, but much of the information was dated

This is actually a thorough, well written book. It takes some work to move beyond the function of direct practice to think like an administrator. (At least it is a challenge for me because of my concentration in direct social work practice)
Kelerius
Was a gift for school.

This book was difficult to get through and I ended up dropping the class. It speaks mostly of management theories and more real life client examples would have been more interesting to me.

Good read for school

The book is almost identical to the new version, missing a couple chapters but information is mostly the same. Cost savings compared to new version, almost $100. Thus far book is as effective a teaching tool as the newer version.
Very good came on time
