I have contacted Barron's hoping they can/will provide insight to the discrepancies

I have contacted Barron's hoping they can/will provide insight to the discrepancies. I am very concerned about moving forward with either book as I now do not trust the integrity of the material.

This book was an excellent way to teach myself high school math after a 25 year hiatus. The presentation was understandable and fairly easy to go through. The only problem I have with the book is the number of typos.

Lawrence Leff has also published mathematics materials not strictly for test-taking, including Geometry the Easy Way. Bibliographic information.

An ideal companion to high school math textbooks, this new book covers all required Integrated Algebra topics prescribed by the New York State Board of Regents.

Books in Barron's "Let's Review" preparation series for high school Regents exams have been completely revised and brought up to date to reflect recent large-scale changes in New York State's High School Regents curriculum. The books have been especially designed to prepare students for Regents finals in New York, but also make fine textbook supplements that can be used in high schools everywhere. In addition to subject reviews, each title contains either model exams or actual recent Regents exams with answers. Many teachers prefer to use Let's Review books as classroom companion texts to Barron's Regents Exams and Answers books. This new edition and its exam material replaces all of the former Sequential Math I and the first half of Sequential Math II exams.

I have this book and found it pretty helpful with studying for Math A. The book has a ton of practice questions which were very similar in style to the regents questions. My teacher had this book and many times the same questions would come up on tests that I had already done while studying. The explainations of things were pretty wordy and kind of confusing, so I wouldn't buy this book if you want things better explained to you. But I would say it's definitely worth buying this book for all the practice questions. I passed the Math A regents in January 2003 with a 90, thanks to a lot of the practice in this book.

Teachers recommend this for NY state Regents prep in Math A. Is updated to cover curriculum changes. Very helpful study aid.

I just purchased both the "Let's Review: Math A" and "Let's Review: Math B" books and found two errors within the answer section for the first "Check Your Understanding" problems within the Math A book. I have contacted Barron's hoping they can/will provide insight to the discrepancies. I am very concerned about moving forward with either book as I now do not trust the integrity of the material.
