Abstract: Nouveau Roman plays an important role in the era of postmodern writings. It is considered to be an innovative school of writing, which demonstrates a good variety of postmodernist features. The new novelists display some measure of dissatisfaction with the previous textual practice, especially with the common practice of coherent narrative. Usually there is loss of meanings and the dissolution of the depth pattern in the novels.
