Collected Poems is the only book by Kathleen Raine that I have read, but for me, her poems offer the best observations and expression of feelings that I've ever read. They probably wouldn't be understood by the youngest adults, but they're perfect for those of us who have traveled along the road of life for awhile. This book has a short 1-1/2 page foreword, a table of contents, all the poems, then a list of titles and first lines. Just pure poetry-delightful!
