New York Times Bestselling Author. The New York Times bestseller by two masters of the crime novel–and husband and wife–writing together for the first time kick starts a new series of short crime novels, beginning with these two riveting tales of murder and suspense, set in Boston and Santa Fe.

Books by Jonathan Kellerman. Alex Delaware Series.

This collaboration between Faye and Jonathan Kellerman was well written. Both stories were moderately intriguing. Character development is well done but I felt that in, "The Land of Giants" portrayal of Boston, as a city, was lacking. Light reading that's fast paced and unpredictable. Faye Kellerman, Jonathan Kellerman Double Homicide Boston. In the Land of Giants 1 It wasn’t that Dorothy was nosy. She was going through the backpack because it stank. Five days’ worth of rotted food leaked from brown lunch bags-a microbe’s dream. I did enjoy both novels, but I must admit that they are just good reads for a doctor's waiting room, an airplane, etc. I did like the Boston story a little better, primarily because I could identify with the female officer's concern for her children. She reminded me very much of Lt. Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson on Law & Order), and, in fact, I visualized her that way. The denouement was a surprise and yet it was not unfair in the least. The Santa Fe story turned me off a little because of Michael Weems' art. I cannot believe the choice of subjects. I wasn't as fond of the detectives in this story either. However, as I said, the books are fast reading and good for passing time when you're stuck waiting.

I have read many of both Faye Kellerman's Decker books and also Jonathon Kellerman's Delaware series. I have really enjoyed books by both authors but this attempt together was really a disappointment. It lacked the mystery, adventure and just plain old human interest story that their books written individually contain. I hope that they return to what they know best in the future and don't attempt any further "togetherness" in their writing. In my opinion, not worth what I paid for the book.

I would read whatever he writes. and I almost have. Thank you.

I am a fan of both kellermans but this collaboration was a big disappointment. I think maybe they were trying to do a twist ending but the twists involved people you didn't care about so there was no point. The only positive I can say is that I didn't pay more than a dollar or two for this book.

Not what I thought I was buying from this writer. Very disappointed. He is usually in for a good story.
