I used this textbook for a class while finishing up my bachelors degree. I still have it! This book does a great job of tying everything required to run e-commerce businesses successfully.

The book is broken up into four parts with 8 total chapters:
Part 1 - Introduction to E-commerce
Part 2 - Technology Infrastructure for E-commerce
Part 3 - Business Concepts and Social Issues
Part 4 - E-commerce in Action

This organization makes for not only a great teaching flow but makes for a GREAT reference book to easily go back and re-read relevant sections that you may need.

This is a college level text book that is actually interesting. It is very well written and most importantly, it is NOT boring. It's amazing how easy it is to read such a large book in a short amount of time when the book is well written. You will be able to actually design and learn how to host your own E-Commerce web site after reading this book. And it's a lot less expensive than you might think. This book is expensive but well worth it with excellent print and illustrations. It's easy to see that a lot of work went into this gigantic hardbound masterpiece.

I used this book for an E-Commerce course I've taken over the Summer'08 semester and loved reading every bit of it!
Accepted that there are incredible number of mistakes in the chapter covering Security related issues, but the pros out weigh the cons by a HUGE margin.

This book for me was an absolute joy to read, and I don't think I've read any book off late that had so much packed with in!

The book was required for class and it was an easy read. The class used the questions right out the book so it was useful.

I needed the book for class and was put off by it's size. However, it is not a bad read. Though it is stocked with information, the chapters are broken up with stories of real-life situations.

I was tracking the ecommerce course my son was taking in
grad school. Although a 2005 vs. 2011 copyright, it worked just fine.
book is in excellent condition and reached on time.
Thanks to the seller !
