I don't use this book the way it's intended: to keep track of planting all year 'round. If you'r the journaling type, though, it's a very nice book. If I used it as I should, I'd probably have better luck remembering what worked and what didn't each season.

I received this book as a Christmas gift and I am so impressed. The book is divided into plant types (shrubs, lawns, roses etc..) with helpful how-tos for each month with specific recommendations and hints to follow each month.

The only information I think is missing is a page layout that will assist me in planting a variety of plants so I will have "color" in my landscape every month of the year
