Lonz of Middle Bass book. Written by a self-proclaimed summer resident, Lonz of Middle Bass is a local history chronicling the southern tip of Middle Bass Island in Lake Erie and the winery that has stood there in various forms since 1864. It focuses on the men involved in this development, most notably George F. Lonz, although it includes a chapter on his wife, Fannie, as well.

The stories are an easy read and provide a rich historical context for the better-known history of the islands.
