A very interesting little book, especially for those of us who live in NorCal. Interesting trivia facts about historic events in Northern California in an easy read format. My husband and I enjoyed reading the book aloud while traveling in the car. Some stories are quite well-known to Californians, but most were told of little known facts and characters-it was full of surprises. Most of the stories are appropriate for reading to children in a CA history class.
