I’ve got to say it: This book has great color photos, but no poses have step-by-step markings. This makes reading the text more difficult and time-consuming. A good editor should have corrected this before the book was published.

This 2001, hard-cover book with dust cover has 144 semi-glossy pages, almost all of which contain at least 1 black and white photo. However, there were a handful of body diagrams in color. And many pages were framed in color. The entire book should have been photographed in color because color gives better depth in reading.

The 2 main Parts in the Contents are: Hips and Thighs and Abs and Back. Buy the book to see the photos and read the sub-Parts.

The Contents page doesn’t list main sections as Parts, with numbers, and the sub-Parts are also not listed as letters. This is somewhat confusing. If the major idea is listed as a number, the sub-idea is listed as a letter. Or vice-versa. A good editor would have caught this.

The authors are Lorna Lee Malcolm, Fitness Director of Reebok University and Mark Bender, manipulative physiotherapist, who runs his own clinic in south London.
