This is just an awesome book and series. It is hard to give it enough praise, but we have all read it multiple times. My 10 year old son refuses to stop reading the series from start to finish. Since purchasing this a few months ago he has read all 10 or so books 4-5 times through already. He always finds something new and interesting each time he reads it. For any fans of sci-fi and fantasy this is absolutely one of the best series we have ever read!

The Winter Nights (Edge Chronicles #8) is another great installation to the series. What I love about this book and the rest of the series is that each book could easily stand on its own or be read in any order, but when you put them all together, details from one or another book come out, showing the in depth connection of everything that happens in life.

As an adult I would definatly recommend this book to other adults as well as children.
Clever

My daughter has read these books several times from the library. Since purchasing the series, she has read them at least 2 times through in the last month. The Edge Chronicles are VERY entertaining for both adults and children. The artwork is beautiful.

This is the 8th in the series, although the books go back and forth (through the first 9 books) in time intertwining the three protagonists.
At first this can be a bit confusing, but the lives of the characters really are intertwined and overall the storyline flows well.
Fun read for any youth, and well-written so that adults would still enjoy.
