My youngest grandchild loves the rhymes, and the older girl is trying some of the sewing ideas. A wonderful and idea filled nursery Rhyme book for the embroidery inclined. This should be offered with the needlework books too.

This is my favorite collection of nursery rhymes. Illustrated with Clare Beaton's original appliques, featuring antique linens and exquisite detail, this book is a delight to look at over and over. The CD that comes with it is a nice touch, too. I have bought several copies of this for baby gifts. The only improvement I could suggest would be to find it published in boardbook format so that it would be more durable for babies and toddlers. But it is perfect for a "snuggle" book--for an older reader to share with a young child.

I remember how my mother sang a lot of these songs to me when I was growing up and I still like listening to them. All four of my grandchildren loves this CD.

Both my kids love this CD and its NOT annoying to listen to like some other kid CDs. Its actually a pleasant CD to listen to for adults. Have used it for 4 years and still using it.

This is a great collection of nursery rhymes - the classic ones and those long-forgotten! I received this book for my girls and bought it for another family as well. The "stitched" illustrations are a nice touch.

March review: I would love to review this book as I expect so much of it...I loved the images showed as a preview so I do have much expectations.
I will have to get back on that, hopefully soon, as it hasn't arrived yet...

April update: well, now it has and it is lovely. we have enjoyed it immensely and will continue to do so. lovely illustrations, nicely played songs. my 3 year old really liked it and, therefore, I liked it even better. images are quite inspirational to someone who likes crafting. it will serve more that its intended purpose as it will inspire me in my artistic and crafty endeavours.

Mother Goose Remembers by Clare Beaton This beautiful book of the author's (and yours) favorite nursery rhymes is illustrated with her wonderful felt and bric-a-brac embroidery embellished pictures which you and your children will adore looking at as you try to find the single floating feather on each page (to make your feather pillow). You can read the familiar rhymes with your child or enjoy singing them with the sing-along CD which comes with the book. An excellent gift for any young child.
