The germs illustrations presented by Steve Bjorkman are amusing . Germs! is more a book about what happens when the germs enter our body and reminds the reader of how germs jump about making people sick

The germs illustrations presented by Steve Bjorkman are amusing, consisting of strange looking creatures in pastel colors, reminding me of characters from the television show Sponge Bob Square Pants. The hands on the girls and boys in Germs!Germs!Germs! appear oddly shaped, as noted by the way the girl is holding the pencil on the cover. Germs! is more a book about what happens when the germs enter our body and reminds the reader of how germs jump about making people sick. My seven-year old has learned from reading the book "Germs are so nasty that they make you sick with a tummy ache and a cold".

I purchased this book for my children when they were in elementary school in the early 2000's. My children are now 18 and 20 years old. As we were going through some of their books I had kept for use for their children, they realized that this book was missing from the collection. So after some whining and pleading I found this book and purchased it.This book provides a fun way for children to understand the importance of washing hands and cleaning scrapes, with it rhythmic wording, cute pictures and just enough "scary" germs to keep your children entertained apparently for years to come!

I read this book every year to all 500 of the children in the school where I am a library /media specialist. I have been reading "Germs" since the year there was a shortage of flu vaccine. The children from pre K to 2nd grade get it. I read it in the fall and the book is checked out all the rest of the school year. So this book really earned five stars from all of the children that have heard it read and then read it themselves.

This is a fun book. My girls enjoy reading it and it helps show my girls why I see the importance of being very clean and washing hands often.

We ordered this for our 7 year old who loves anything anatomy related. This was additionally recommended on the CDC website, and we found the content to be both engaging and age appropriate for our child.

Teachers and kids love this book. It's funny, has a nice canter to the rhymes and teaches about preventing the spread of sickness. The pre-school teachers at my son's school kept asking me to bring it back so I ordered three copies for the school as a "graduation thank-you" gift.

Helps get the hand washing and other cleanliness messages across in a fun way. My kids love it. We copied various pages and posted them by the sink and other areas as reminders.
This is a really fun book. The kids love it, and they have become more aware of germs.
