I just read your story and enjoyed reading it I would recommend this story to anyone who likes to read romance novels.

I agree with everything the previous reviewer said and would like to add that no one was likable in this story except the baby. I couldn't cheer for the hero (who seemed pretty hapless despite being a business mogul) or the heroine (who I guess we're supposed to feel sympathy for because she gave up her baby but she specifically had the baby to give away, so no sympathy if you've changed your mind).

At one point in the story, the heroine tells the hero that, as the biological mother, she's going to go after custody. Then she gets upset when he says, "I'll get the courts to make sure you never see her again." You're both threatening the other person with the same thing so how can you be so upset?

And several times, she interrupts him, then mentally fills in the rest of his statement, which of course, she makes false assumptions about (shockers!) so of course, the fake tension can continue.

I wanted to like it but just couldn't.

This book was like a not so good LifeTime movie. A surrogate, Candace, agrees to have a baby for a woman she barely knows then wants the baby back when she discovers that the woman she contracted with has died and thinks the husband, Nick, is a neglectful father. Really? The attraction between them seemed forced and happened a little too quickly considering Candace's dislike of Nick.
