Dr. Ethan Tulane is juggling more than even his type A personality can handle

Dr. Ethan Tulane is juggling more than even his type A personality can handle. Between his new job as chief of surgery and learning to be a dad to Simon, his adopted son, Ethan is desperate. Enter Megan Rose, the temporary nanny. Simon bonds instantly with her, which makes Ethan heave a sigh of relief-even as he notices she's very good-looking.

Kay Stockham writes very engaging stories. She makes me enjoy reading about topics I usually wouldn't find appealing. Her characters are three-dimensional and you always finding yourself on their side, cheering them on. Both Garret and Darcy are in difficult, confusing positions. It's hard to see a way out for them, and it was a great experience seeing them figuring everything out. Both characters were strong individually, able to deal with things on their own, but we all knew they'd be even better together

Scoreboard Bleeding
Simon Says Mommy is an enjoyable read, the writing was entertaining and kept you turning the page. The characters aren't as well developed as they should be and some of the situations in the book are not properly handled but overall the book is an enjoyable harlequin read.

Ethan got back from his trip with Doctors Without Borders with more then he ever thought possible. A son. Simon, who is only five, has seen more in his short life then any child should and isn't bonding with his father like he should, to add to that is the language barrier and Ethan's responsibility as a doctor, so when someone shows up and forms a bond with his son Ethan jumps on the chance to make her stay.

Megan has had a rough life since her childhood, her father always pitted her and her sister against each other, then made her enter beauty pageants and dance and sports so he could go off an have an affair. Then he would criticize her whenever she asked about where he went, to add to that her mother babied her sister and blamed Megan for her failed marriage. Then when she finds out her sisters boyfriend is an abusive jerk she does the only thing she can to save her sister, but when it backfires and she gets hurt and pregnant shes forced into an abusive marriage.

Now years later she's on the run from her ex-husband who got out of prison and she runs to her sister, the sister who hates her for things Megan never did. But when she finds love with her sisters husbands brother will Megans ex ruin it?

Simon Says Mommy was an enjoyable read, it even has it's touching moments, but there was something missing in the book. Some parts of the reading should have been more drawn out and others a little shortened, but overall its a touching read about love, family dynamics and how DNA doesnt make a child not yours.

I liked this book and I did not want to put it down but I kept wanting to go thru the pages and scream "JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND TELL THEM THE FREAKING TRUTH" then I realized hey this is just a book. :) The ending was kind of funny to me when the hero runs to the car and hits the window (while the lady is parked in the middle in the street) telling her to come out the car. Im like really. It was just a funny thing to me. I liked how the ex did come and tell the truth and set things straight. Pretty good series. I like all of her books and I like the family

I have read all the Tulane books in the series, and I have got to say this is the best one. When I read the first book Another Man's Baby, I liked the series, but after the last two, His Son's Teacher and Her Best Friends Brother I was getting nervous that the series was only going to be only one book strong. I was so happy that this book proved me wrong. The main characters in the book, Ethan and Megan are wonderful for each other. Megan is the sister to Jenn from the His Son's Teacher, and lets just say there isnt any love lost between these two sisters. Megan is trying to reconcile with her sister, but Jenn is proving to be very stubborn and something down right cruel. Ethan is the brother whose book I have been waiting for, he is kind, and understanding with Megan, but he has some problems of his own. Mainly, his adopted son, Simon. I can go on and on about this book, but I don't want to give anything away. I know that there is one book left in the series, but I don't know how Stockham is going to out do this one. The only negative I have to say isn't the authors fault, its Harlequins. For some reason this months superromace collection is shorter than the previous months, and you are still paying a little over $5 dollars for the book!
