Whitney I The wind whipped at my brown summer skirt, snatched at my white straw hat as I came down from the plane and started across the field of the small Ne. Good book replaced my copy that fell apart
Archie Joscelyn wrote westerns from the 1930's into the 1980's and he wrote plenty of them. Some were even reprinted using the Al Cody name as this is one and the same man; he also used the name Lynn Westland to write westerns. But the Archie Joscelyn name assures you of a good western story, well told, and in the traditional vein usually. This one incorporates a girl who happens to be a photographer for an Eastern paper who is assigned to take pictures of the silvermines at Silverhill, but "King" Coleman thinks her interest is a bit too interesting and her claiming to be a tenderfoot doesn't ring quite true. Some one is sabotaging the running of the Clockman Mines where King had hoped to land a job.
