American Katherine Andersen's dream marriage to Sebastian Locke, a powerful British talent agent, is transformed into a nightmare by Sebastian's hidden demons

Slow beginning and good ending. com User, June 18, 2000. I thought this book started slow but then it got interesting. The characters were first introduced in childhood and then met again years later. Two of the characters became involved and their troubles related to the past. I was happy with the ending which was very climatic! This was a good book and I would recommend it. 0. Report.

A truly incredible book! I discovered this author recently and everything I have read has been magical - truly great stories. In this I felt her characters were very well portrayed - especially Katherine and Sebastian - this is more than a good read. But when, oh when, will you sort out these typos? For a serious reader they are more than off putting. Maureen Rowland-Aitken Johannesburg South Africa

Fantastic.

This is the 2nd book that I have ready by Hilary. I loved Chateau Ella. This book almost seemed like it was written by another author or had a co writer. In the beginning it felt like she was introducing too many characters. Then I had to start skipping through several paragraphs, because it was uninteresting and too wordy/descriptive. It picked up later in the book. The ending was somewhat expected.
