I could not have made it these past 15 years without having this book. There are others, but they don't compare. The author really did make our lives better. You will have no regrets if you purchase this book

Please note that this is the updated edition of her first cookbook, The Gluten-Free Gourmet: Living Well Without Wheat. Most of the content is identical, bar some minor changes/additions. This isn't a bad thing, as the updates are very helpful, but you may want to skip this if you already have The Gluten-Free Gourmet: Living Well Without Wheat.

Bette's books are the best around. She has carefully tested her receipes and has testers around the world who test them in other areas of the world (high altitude, ease of finding ingredients ...). But you can purchase one of her other books and get everything this has without spending a fortune.
